Language Incorporated has been a leader in comprehensive English and Spanish instruction and peripheral services for over 10 years. The company was founded by a team of accomplished linguists, led by bilingual and multi-cultural expert, Dr. Oscar Jiménez. Our staff consists of professional instructors and counselors with extensive experience and passion for developing the most effective paths to reach our clients’ goals.

SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY PROJECTS

Language Incorporated is highly committed to the education of new generations as a means to create a better future for all. We believe that people in vulnerable sectors such as youngsters or single mothers need a helping hand to achieve their full potential and be part of a healthy and successful workforce in a peaceful environment.

We will devote 3% of our profits (from every language project we develop) to educational projects for the at-risk groups mentioned above.

In 2019 our beneficiary target is a Technical High School: C.T.P. Don Bosco, in Alajuelita, San José. ColegioTécnico Don Bosco has 1300 High School students who also obtain a technical degree at the end of 6 years of studies. We are developing language programmes for them for the year 2019-2020. Starting in August 2019 many students will benefit from a bilingual education that will open doors to a better future.

Managers

Our managerial team includes experts who have obtained prestigious scholarships such as Fulbright, as well as others awarded by international entities and Universities in the UK and the USA. Language Incorporated’s members and consultants have worked as ESL and EFL corporate, undergraduate and graduate college consultants and professors locally and abroad. A varied sample of places where our staff has worked includes: Temple University, University of London: Birkbeck, Texas Tech University, Stephen F Austin State University, La Salle University, Cabrini College, Saint Joseph's University, Drexell University, Radnor College in Pennsylvania, University of Denver in Colorado, the University of Costa Rica and Universidad Nacional in Costa Rica.

Oscar Jiménez, PhD/MA

Oscar Jiménez is a highly knowledgeable and accomplished professional with a successful 25+-year career in academic and corporate environments in Costa Rica and abroad. As a Fulbright Scholar and recipient of graduate scholarships in the U.K., Dr. Jiménez obtained practical, analytical and research experience, which was then polished while working for U.S. Universities, and in demanding business sectors. Dr. Jiménez is an innovator in the design and implementation of language programmes with socio-cultural components.

Hazel Salazar, B.A.

Ms. Salazar obtained a B.A. in English with a Minor in Spanish from the University of Costa Rica (cum laude). She is a few months away from receiving a Master’s Degree in Communication with a concentration in Public Relations from Southern New Hampshire University. Ms. Salazar has worked for the Agency for International Development and the U.S. Department of Commerce and has vast experience promoting U.S. products abroad and fostering trade relationships between importers/exporters and government officials in international settings. Ms. Salazar is fully bilingual and has a passion for helping businesses improve their growth through accurate marketing and communication skills in bilingual environments, including content editing and curating for digital platforms. Her experience in high-level business sectors has been key in the development of Language Incorporated’s signature initiative: PrimeSPANISH, an elite Spanish immersion program in Costa Rica, designed to master the language at the participant’s pace and with custom needs as well as personal or business interests and goals in mind.
